Climate

As a guide, temperatures in Fremantle in September range from 11°C to 20°C. Fremantle is famous for a few Freo Doctors so mid afternoon you might need an extra layer.

Parking

While we highly encourage the use of public transport there are a number of parking option in Fremantle – including free parking. More information can be found here

Meals

We recognise that some delegates may have special dietary needs. Please advise via email if you need a special dietary requirement – we will do our best.

Indemnity

In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, the Host and Organising Committee accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delay or cancellation. 

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance prior to coming to the conference. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the conference, or through cancellation of the conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Organising Committee will take any responsibility for any participant failing to insure. Please speak to your travel agent or airline in regard to this matter.

Please note cancellation or postponement may be necessary due to acts, events or causes beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, industrial disputes, failure in electricity supply or gas supply, war, civil strife, flood, storm, fire, accident, unavailability of raw materials or supplies, explosion, global health emergency (including coronavirus COVID-19), epidemic, breakdown of plant, machinery or equipment or shortages of labour, transportation, fuel, power, plant, machinery, equipment or material and refunds will only be provided at the discretion of the Organising Committee.

COVID Ticketing Information

We are implementing WA Government’s Safe WA contact tracing system. It is a condition of entry to register your attendance when visiting our venues. To make it easier, download the SafeWA app now via the WA Government website. To download the APP click HERE.

Please do not attend the Conference if you are feeling unwell. 

Discretionary exchanges or refunds may be considered if you have been in direct contact with someone with suspected COVID-19 or someone who has returned from international or interstate travel in the 14 days prior to the event.

Discretionary exchanges or refunds may be considered if there is a government mandate stating that we cannot proceed with the event in it’s intended state. 
 

If your ability to attend the event live is impacted by government restrictions and you decide that you do not want to experience the event virtually, or if the event is postponed and you are unable to make the new dates, you will be able to transfer the full value of your registration to a colleague or to a future event with the Partners.

If any of these scenarios apply to you, please contact us in writing at least 48 hours before the event you are due to attend outlining the details of your situation. A outcome will be provided within seven business days. This policy is subject to change should the WA Government’s health advice change.

There is strictly no smoking within the Venue.
